Vittorio sets the first single-handed Dakar-Guadaloupe mark in April 2008 at 13d 17h 57m.
In August 2016, Vittorio together with his son Nico smash the Mediterranean record, Marseille-Carthago, setting a mark of 42h 54m, which is 11h less than the previous record from Yvan Bourgnon and Jérémie Lagarrigue.
In April 2017 again father and son set the double handed Dakar-Guadaloupe record at 11d 01h 09m.
